Welcome to Actions in Spotlight!
As young people, oftentimes we forget to think beyond ourselves or to consider what we could do to make real, lasting change. Many of us are in the dark when it comes to issues of sustainable development and living.
Actions in Spotlight, a service learning project and an online platform created by and for students, is dedicated to inspiring young people to promote the United Nation’s “Sustainable Development Goals to Transform our World.” We publish original writing submitted by students from around the United States that address the sustainable development goals and empower them to participate in service initiatives that make a real difference in their communities.
Our Editorial Board brings together passionate young writers and leaders from a diverse range of geographic areas, as well as academic and community backgrounds. Together, we hope to create rich conversations and bring you the best authentic voices.
